Handmade Items

The Lodge Look:

Pine

A handsaw is used to cut each piece of lodge pole; no live trees are cut for any items

Rustic Wood Items: Each piece has aged in the mountains and is selected for its unique shape and use.
Salt and Pepper Set: Handmade from Oregon Lodge Pole.

Bark Cross: Bark is gathered after it has fallen from dead trees.  It is hand shaped into various size crosses and treated so the bark does not peel apart.

Walking Sticks: Gathered after they have aged in the Cascade Mountains of Oregon, many have been engraved by the small bark beetle.  The sticks are worked by hand and naturally treated to enhance these special engravings.  They come in various shapes and sizes.  Included on each staff are brass tacks and a beaded leather strap that goes around the stick with brass tins.  Some sticks include rubber tips that can be removed.

Carved Animal Tracks: A card describing the animal's virtues are included with many sticks.

Items made will not be exactly as those pictured but will be similar in design and materials used.  As in nature, everything is unique and one of a kind; likewise so are these items.
