The Works of their Hands
A furnished room of Tuzigoot. These people were farmer gatherers. They planted corn, beans, squash and cotton. Inside are a few of the items they had made. Large pots called ollas stored corn. In a rock trough called metatos, the corn was ground into meal using a stone, called monos. The people of Tuzigoot were master weavers as well as stoneworkers. By using all that the Creator had provided they lived very productive lives.
