Desert Surprise

Montezuma Well

Here is a desert oasis that is 368 feet across and 55 feet deep.  It flows 1.5 million gallons of water into hand-dug canals that the Hohokam people built to irrigate their farm plots as early as A.D. 800.  Camp Verde, AZ.

Standing Against the Odds

Many hardships have come against this ancient tree to try to destroy it, weaken it, or make it fall.  Against all odds it still stands tall and strong.  It is a testimony that in the hands of the Creator, no matter what our hardships, we can endure.
